👋 Hi, I’m Sachin
I have been a blogger for the past 6-7 years, and I am the independent developer behind Sudoku Leader. Some of you might be surprised, but I am actually a Medical Student. This is not my first website, and definitely not my last, but I wanted to tell you guys that building this platform was seriously crazy. I have literally never given this much time and effort to any of my previous sites—this was my peak.
Currently, I am in the learning phase of my coding journey. As a medical student, learning full-fledged coding is very tough. But if you have imagination and creativity, you can turn your ideas into reality using the tools available today. Trust me, it requires so much patience and time—improving the code piece by piece, defining exactly how it should look and function. Anyway, I cannot fully express myself here because it might get boring, so we will skip the rest of that story for another day, on another website.
🛠️ Why I Built It
When I started, I wasn’t a serious Sudoku player. I tried the big Sudoku sites like any new player would, and most of them were slow, full of pop-ups and hard to use on a phone. I knew it could be better.
So I built Sudoku Leader the way I wanted it: quick, clean and easy to play on any screen. It went live in March 2026, and I’ve been improving it every week.

You can play classic 9×9, the smaller 4×4 and 6×6 grids for kids and beginners, and the big ones: 12×12, 16×16 and the huge 25×25. There’s also Killer, Jigsaw, Evil and Samurai Sudoku, a new Daily Challenge every day, and live multiplayer.
There are free tools too: a Sudoku Solver, a puzzle Generator, a Killer Sudoku calculator, blank grids and printable sheets. Everything here is free, and you don’t need an account to play.
🔍 How the Puzzles Are Made
Every puzzle is made fresh on your device from its 10-digit Puzzle ID, and the computer checks it has only one solution. The same ID always gives the same puzzle, so you can share a puzzle with a friend, or scan the QR code on a printed sheet and play it online.

🏅 Ranks & Achievements
Every puzzle you finish gives you XP. Sign in with Google or play as a guest, and your XP, streaks and badges are saved to your profile.
🎖️ Classic Profile Ranks
Your rank goes up as your Classic XP grows. Classic XP comes from all single-player puzzles: every grid size, the Daily Challenge, Killer, Jigsaw, Evil and Samurai.
Bigger and harder puzzles give more XP. Hints and mistakes give a little less.
⚔️ Multiplayer Ranks Are Separate
Multiplayer races give Multiplayer XP, which has its own ranks: Rookie, Challenger, Contender, Duelist, Gladiator, Warlord, Overlord, Conqueror and Sovereign. Winning races doesn’t change your Classic rank, and single-player puzzles don’t change your Multiplayer rank.
