👋 Hi, I’m Sachin

I have been a blogger for the past 6-7 years, and I am the independent developer behind Sudoku Leader. Some of you might be surprised, but I am actually a Medical Student. This is not my first website, and definitely not my last, but I wanted to tell you guys that building this platform was seriously crazy. I have literally never given this much time and effort to any of my previous sites—this was my peak.

Currently, I am in the learning phase of my coding journey. As a medical student, learning full-fledged coding is very tough. But if you have imagination and creativity, you can turn your ideas into reality using the tools available today. Trust me, it requires so much patience and time—improving the code piece by piece, defining exactly how it should look and function. Anyway, I cannot fully express myself here because it might get boring, so we will skip the rest of that story for another day, on another website.

🚀 The Opportunity

Truthfully, I never played a lot of Sudoku or logic puzzles. But I saw a massive opportunity. When I visited traditional Sudoku websites, I saw a lot of scope for improvement. They were often clunky, slow, loaded with spammy pop-ups, and terrible to use on mobile phones.

I wanted to step in and build a competitive site that provided great features, focusing entirely on the UI and UX for the players. So, I rolled up my sleeves and started building. The custom layout, the interactive tools, and the fast speeds you see here are a direct result of wanting to make a better product than what was currently out there.

Because I built this platform focusing on a flawless user experience, I engineered out all the things that are frustrating about traditional puzzle sites.

Today the platform covers the full range of Sudoku. Start with the classic 9×9 board, ease kids and beginners in with 4×4 and 6×6 grids, or take on the giants—12×12, 16×16, and the 625-cell 25×25 Titan. When you want the rules bent, there’s Killer, Jigsaw, Evil, and Samurai, plus a fresh Daily Challenge every 24 hours and live multiplayer races against friends.

And it isn’t only puzzles to play. A free toolkit backs them up: an instant Sudoku Solver that walks through its own steps, a one-click puzzle Generator, and a Killer cage Calculator for the math-heavy variant. Teachers and parents can pull from hundreds of free printable PDF sheets, each carrying a QR code that opens the very same board online. No sign-up, no paywall—every grid and every tool here is free.

Every puzzle you finish earns XP that builds your profile and pushes you up the global leaderboard. Sign in (free, with Google or as a guest) and your wins, streaks, and unlocked badges are saved to your account. Here is exactly how the progression works.

Your rank badge climbs through six tiers as your total XP grows:

XP is awarded for every solve and scales with grid size and difficulty—a clean, fast solve on a hard 25×25 is worth far more than an easy 4×4. Using hints or making mistakes trims the XP for that puzzle, so accuracy pays.

On top of ranks, there are 17 one-time achievements to collect. Each unlocks automatically the moment you meet its goal, with a little pop-up to celebrate, and lives permanently in your profile.
